| Bawden & Lareau Public Relations announced it has just reached agreement with Hill & Valley Bakery to create and manage web content on the bakery’s web site for the remainder of 2008. “We’ve seen our relationship with Hill & Valley grow over the past 12 to 18 months, and this is just a logical extension of that partnership,” explained Liz Merdian Lareau, partner at B&LPR.
The firm will re-design the consumer-facing section of the bakery’s web site and work with marketing and product development staff to create and post fresh content on a monthly basis. Much of the content of the site will present Hill & Valley’s sugar-free and no-sugar-added products as realistic food choices for people living with diabetes. “We’re in the process of talking with outside experts who help people deal with diabetes every day,” explained Ms. Lareau. “Whether it’s presenting new ways to serve up desserts or learning how to ‘right size’ meal portions to keep them within your dietary guidelines, these outside experts will help add depth to the rich content we’re able to serve up from our internal contacts at H&V.” Site to include information on ADA Walks Ms. Lareau oversees B&LPR’s efforts to manage Hill & Valley’s relationship with the American Diabetes Association and their various walks in eight markets around the country. H&V and their retail partners help promote the walks and solicit registrations for the events.
